This was a very easy project and I highly recommend it. Check out this and other tuts over at the Pink Penguin. She is a very talented blogger.
The baby quilt is still awaiting a binding and this handbag is done for the most part.
Please excuse my messy desk at work!I continue to work on my masters. its so hard! I am sure I have senioritis and mommy-of-a-2-year-old-itis because I cannot seem to focus on this degree! I did manage to turn in another paper and got an A on it! Yes! Moving forward. I will be glad when this particular project goes into the completed pile.
And speaking of my little two year old work in progress, he started Karate class this week. Can you believe they have this for 2 year olds? Right now its all about teaching them to follow directions, no real technique for about another year or so. But check out my boy's moves! Pretty good for a first try! Forgive the blurs, he was a moving target and I took these on my blackberry.

The handbag is cute, so are your other projects. Same thing happened to me at the end of my master's program. I think it completely normal to not be able to concentrate on the last little bit. My husband is having that problem right now too. I hear him playing games when he should be finishing his final project :) Good luck on finishing and congrats!
If you don't know what to do with this handbag it can come and live at my house... Your little boy is adorable. When I did my master's, I did not sew a single thing and I also did not have a toddler yet, so kudos to you!

What a cute little rugrat! My rugrats are a bit bigger than that (5 and 9)! Love your lunch bag! I'll have to try that one for my daughter next year!

The quilt is awesome, love the colors, yellow is always a favorite of mine. Such a bright and happy color.
